The phrase

“Colosse aux pieds d’argile” -”the Giant with feet of clay” in English- symbolizes a power that seems invulnerable but which is built on a fragile base.
It comes from the interpretation of a dream by the prophet Daniel which announced the collapse of the Kingdom of Babylon.

The association in a few words

Our mission

Notre misson

The mission of the association “Colosse aux pieds d’argile” is to prevent and raise awareness about paedophile and hazing risks in sports and in all children spheres. Its purpose is to assist and help the victims. It is also concerned with the protection of the supervisors against any compromising situation.

What we do

In our actions, we protect the children and all the professional actors and volunteers supervising children (coaches, sports instructors, youth leaders, volunteers, parents…). We help them identify and assist a victim but especially not to put themselves in situations that could be misinterpreted.

Who is concerned?

For all the people supervising children
For sports clubs (leaders, sports instructors, volunteers)
For communities
For licence-holders from 5 to 15 years old
For parents…

  • “Hello and congratulations for your initiative! My children are part of a rugby club and I would really like your association to organise prevention initiatives for players on this theme still taboo but so important for everyone, whether we are victims or not.”
  • “Taboos are still too rooted in the society, particularly here! I hope the courage of those who created the association will help break down taboos and silence! So, I repeat: thank you to the Association for being there, finally!”
